The Heiri’Khall Cosmology
The complete cosmology and shape of the Heiri’Khall universe.
Lady Heiri
The creator of the universe, the central source of power in all planes, and the reason all who live in the various planes exist at all.
Lady Heiri is female, tall, and was a goddess of magic in the previous universe, creating this universe at the end of the previous one, all to share a last moment with her partner, a great god of time. This last moment is a dance at the end of time as their worlds fall to entropy.
Lady Heiri wears her own wedding gown, a patchwork of beautiful imagery, each patch sewn into it a plane of existence.
The threads that hold these patches provide all things life and mortality requires, and are called the Threaded Planes.
The Veiled Planes are her wedding veil, washing over all planes. These give souls, dreams, and the presence of all things incorporeal or ethereal to all planes, including the mortal planes, the afterlives, the broken Fae realms, the wandering planes, and the havens of the gods. This Pattern continues with each ring of patches representing another aspect of the universe or holding a certain universal necessity.
The Types of Planes
The Origin Plane - Lady Heiri’s Body - The Plane of Magic
The Primordial Planes - Cosmic Planes of Essential Things for Existence
Primal Elemental Planes - Earth, Air, Water, Fire
Energy Planes - All the Universal Energy Sources
Deliverance Planes - The Planes made from the corpses of the entities that delivered essentials to each plane as it was formed, their trails leading to creating the Threaded Planes. Once pets of Lady Heiri, these great cosmic creatures were fragments of their formal selves. Slain by the Ancient Aevorrians in the Aevorrians devastating blitzkrieg across the universe.
The Threaded Planes - The Planes of existence that are the threads that make sew Lady Heiri’s Dress together universally, and the continuation of the deliverance planes after the deliverance beasts perished, the living trails of those cosmic monsters.
The Veiled Planes - These planes are planes that cover mortal and immortal worlds in a veil, much like the magic of Lady Heiri drapes over all planes of existence. These are not planes in the traditional sense. These planes include the planes like the ethereal and astral plane, under new names with their own different mechanics for the setting. The realm of dreams, the realm of souls, and many other realms fall under this banner.
The Mortal Planes - The Planes inhabited by mortals, players, and where the stories take place
The Dead Planes - The planes that fell to evil, death, or extinction, floating in the universe
The Afterlife Planes - The planes that make up the universes afterlives
Divine Havens - The demiplanes and personal domains of deities. Every deity has one
Melded Planes/Eldests - These are multiple planes of existence connected together by the Ancient Aevorrians, and left to wander the eternal sea, broken off from or shifted on the cosmic gown. These planes are the largest, even reaching primordial planes in size, but hosting mortal life at much higher rates.
Floating/Wandering Planes - The planes built by the Omnans and Eternal Sailors, The Wandering Planes, separate froim the creations of the Ancient Aevorrians, built during a cosmic conflict between the Omnans and the Ancient Aevorrians.
How do the planes work?
These magical planes go vertically from top to bottom. The first plane in the center is Lady Heiri’s physical form that wears the other planes of existence as her dress as she dances in the void. The universe will end when Lady Heiri stops dancing.
The planes go from top to bottom after Lady Heiri’s physical form, forming a multilayer dress made from the planes of existence themselves.
