The Maashuu Pantheons
Who and What Are the Maashuu?
They are one of the first species to be created by Habrintom, created during the battle between Habrintom and Arsii at the beginning of Abirria, when they both breathed new life into the wastelands left behind by the fall of the Aevorrian Empire. They have an African/Tribal tilt to their gods and their practices, which are a lot more sacrificial and physical, including dances and prayers made from tree sculptures of their deities. These deities gained immortality through faith and reverence of the Maashuu people.

The Demigods of the Maashuu
How Are Maashuu Demigods Born and Realized? The Maashuu Demigods are born by appearing in great, large sized pods in the Glassweald, the forest of origin for the Maashuu, in Abirria, or anywhere where Maashuu birthing pods are created, even in the depths and the core.
The Demigods appear in times of need for the Maashuu, and the Maashuu, throughout millions of years, have gained such masterful druidic knowledge, that they have even been able to replicate this divine druidic magic in certain parts of the world, in case another god must arrive, though they have not gotten a new Maashuu True Demigod in quite some time, around 10,000 years, and yet the guardians and tenders to the Maashuu Pods still tend to the groves and make their home at these birthing locations.
These Pods are known as Duun'Puuii, or Demi-Pods. The Maashuu throughout history have tended the grove of the gods in many regions of the world, to release new gods as they appear, and may or may not raise them by adopting them into a family of Maashuu. These caretakers and releasers of the gods have become Patron or Matron Spirits in the Maashuu faith. These Patron/Matron Spirits are classified as gods in their own right.
The Birthing process is called Divuu'Buu, or Divine Breaking, in which the pod is broken and the demigod is released.
