Adamantine Metal

The metal that is second behind mithril in use in Abraeas’Dor. These variations of Adamantine are used often if heavier war machines, cannons, war weapons, and tougher types of Maggi-Tech items and gear, and is often used on armors for those who are on the front lines. This metal is particularly valuable but is only a little less common than mithril in terms of magical metals. Craft gear or upgrade gear with Adamantine to gain similar energy and power benefits to mithril but with the standard bonuses of Adamantine weapons and armor.

Blackward Adamantine - Forest Green with a shadowy black sheen - 4,000gp per ingot

  • Armor Bonus: Armor made from Blackward Adamantine grants the wearer the ability to negate the damage from up to two nonspell attacks dealing Bludgeoning, Piercing, Slashing, Necrotic, or Force damage. This ability functions once per day.

  • Resistance(3.5e): Blackward Adamantine grants the wearer damage resistance 4-10 depending on the level of the armor

  • Resistance(5e): Blackward Adamantine grants the wearer damage resistance against Necrotic and Force damage by 1/2 damage

  • Weapons(5e) deal an additional damage die of the melee weapons base damage type and 2 points of Force damage, and can be used to destroy nonmagical metal and wood through melee attacks

  • Weapons(3.5e) deal an additional damage die of the melee weapons base damage type and deal 2d4 Force damage, and can be used to destroy nonmagical metal or wood through melee attacks.

Solariian Adamantine - Pure White with a soft silver sheen - 4,000gp per ingot

  • Armor Bonus: Armor made from Solariian Adamantine grants the wearer the ability to cast the Sunbeam Spell(5e/3.5e) once per day.

  • Resistance(3.5e): Solariian Adamantine grants the wearer Radiant and Necrotic damage resistance 4-10 depending on the level of the armor

  • Resistance(5e): Solariian Adamantine grants the wearer damage resistance against Radiant and Necrotic damage by 1/2 damage

  • Weapons(5e) deal an additional damage die of Radiant damage and an additional 2 points of Fire damage

  • Weapons(3.5e) deal an additional damage die of Radiant damage and deal and additional 2d4 Fire damage, and can be used to set unworn items on fire with a Swift Action.

Fathomed Adamantine - Dark Blue with a dark shadowy black sheen - 4,500gp per ingot

  • Armor Bonus: Armor made from Fathomed Adamantine grants the wearer the ability to swim as if they are not wearing armor and can survive at extreme depths without having to make checks or saves, and as an Action(5e)/Standard Action(3.5e), the wearer can cast the Cone of Cold Spell(5e/3.5e)

  • Resistance(3.5e): Fathomed Adamantine grants the wearer Cold and Bludgeoning damage resistance 4-10 depending on the level of the armor

  • Resistance(5e): Fathomed Adamantine grants the wearer damage resistance against Cold and Bludgeoning damage by 1/2 damage

  • Weapons(5e) deal an additional damage die of Cold damage and an additional 2 points of Force damage

  • Weapons(3.5e) deal an additional damage die of Cold damage and deal and additional Force damage, and can be used to control a 10ft square area of water as a Swift Action.
