Kavarull/Kavarites

You are Kavii, or a Kavarull, a habrintean race native to the land of Abirria. Your body is large, tough, durable, and restless, as if you are meant to conquer. Your father in divinity, Habrintom, made you last out of all the races in Abirria. Your people are known to have melded deeply with the other citizenry of the Abirrian empire, and your people’s toughness and endurance is a legendary asset to the empire.

Your people are known for their incredible strength and ability to manipulate time with the wave of your hands, and your devotion to battle and war is admirable to many. The other Kavii in your empire are known to train many of the other humanoid species in Abirria for battle and wars against Aevorr, your greatest enemy and neighbor to the west.

You have 4-6 legs, and stand similarly to a centaur, but have thick, reptilian, dragon-like legs and can have between 2 and 4 arms, depending on your parentage. Your upper half is either furry and taking the types of patterns found on horses, felines, or dogs, while your head takes on a much more humanoid appearance than animal, but not without it’s own slight beastly features, like two rows of sharp teeth and a set of four large, curved horns that protect your head in the front and the back.

Your species has a great gift of endurance and resistance against exhaustion, and your lives are far extended beyond those of the Naven and Naherin, living for 300-400 years, and reaching maturity by the age of 50.

Kavarull Subspecies

Beastile Kavarull/Kavii

Traits and Appearance: Animalistic, with more signs of chimera-like mixtures of powerful and dangerous animals.

Physical Features: Bull or Rams Horns covering their head and neck like a ramming shell, more animalistic senses of smell, taste, and tracking ability. Their bodies are covered in thick fur in greys, blacks, whites, and blues in various animalistic patterns. Their heads take on a far more monstrous appearance, barely fitting in with humanoid faces.

Subspecies Bonuses: These Kavii share their sense of smell with beasts and are able to track targets with greater ease, giving them a +5 bonus to Survival Checks(3.5e)/ or advantage on tracking creatures using Survival in Desert and Jungle terrain.

Draco-Serpentine Kavarull/Kavii

Traits and Appearance: Snake and dragon-like in appearance, large and bulky, moves more quickly, no fur and instead of dragonlike scales mixed with serpentine scales, except the scales are far harder than those of regular snakes.

Physical Features: Large green and bluish frill that appears around their necks when they shout or enter combat, which triggers their fight response. These Kavii do not have a flight or fawn response, only a fight response, and must be convinced to leave a fight they have entered into. Their heads are humanoid with snake-like eyes and long jaws filled with multiple rows of sharp teeth. Their bite attacks are their go to unarmed strike or natural weapon, and their long, devastating claws are retractable, making their claws their second natural weapon.

Subspecies Bonuses: These Kavii are gifted with natural weapons, including their long retractable claws and their savage bite attacks. These Kavii also are able to locate water much more easily than other Kavarull. They can pinpoint which way water would be without having to make a check.

Hounded Kavarull/Kavii

Traits and Appearance: Wolf-like in design and fur color and patterns, large and bulky, more durable, and built for brawling, heavy armor, and have the type of figure for war shock troops.

Physical Features: These Kavarull are known for their battle-cry’s and howls, being mutated from wolves and great canines, as if centaurs were created from the world’s greatest canines. These Kavii have long curved teeth and have a beast-like face, with a dangerous set of barely humanoid eyes, with long tongues and have fur in colors like dark grey, black, white and grey, and white fur splashed with a pale red. These creatures bear the markings of natural born lycanthropy.

Subspecies Bonuses: These Kavarull have the sense of wolves, the ability to use pack tactics with other Kavii of their same subspecies, and are considered mechanically to be beasts with humanoid intelligence and sentience, and are treated as such in the world, they just classify as beasts. The Kavii in this subspecies are afflicted with a minor form of lycanthropy, and were born under its effects, always in their transformation. These Kavii cannot infect other creatures with Lycanthropy.

Feline Kavarull/Kavii

Traits and Appearance: Feline design, catlike in fur/hair color and patterns, large but slender and lithe, shorter than other Kavarull.

Physical Features: These Kavarull have shorter hair, smaller figures than other Kavii, but are faster and more maneuverable than others of their species. These catlike Kavii share similar colors and color patterns to panthers, cheetah’s, and tigers, and come in various different patterns. These creatures max out their height at 10ft tall, counting just beyond the Large size category.

Subspecies Bonuses: These Kavarull are the most mobile of all the Kavarull subspecies. They have a movement speed of 50 instead of the base 40ft, and their climb speed is equal to their movement speed. These Kavii are capable of swimming the same distance as their normal movement speed.
