Krossanites/Strainers

Native to the undersea realms found in the empire of Mithiias, these strange people are the evolved form of Krossan Strains, the maggots and worms found in the waters surrounding the dead gods in the Mithiians previous worlds. They have evolved into their own species over the last 10,000 years of Abraean history. Often bulbous, heavy, mutated, and rather grotesque to witness in person. Fully amphibious and resistant to cold and stormy weather, the Krossanites are regarded as a holy or blessed people to the common citizens of Mithiias.

A Krossanite adventurer will often leave their homeland as a blessed envoy, taking on solitary adventures as a scribe, travelling shaman, or as an emissary of the Mithiian empire.

Each krossanite has it’s own unique set of traits that are chosen by the player, or are passed down genetically in the monitored and genetically modified noble families among their kind. Their cities and towns rest on cliffsides underwater or along the stomachs of the Mithiians colossal gods.
