Aethiian Empire - Air Elemental Empire

The Empire of Aeth is the transparent, airy, foggy, misted, and floating cloud based elemental empire of the Atmos in Abraeas’Dor. This empire is known among the atmossian people for its incredibly fast airships and its lightweight magical materials that fetch a very high price on the open market. 

The Empire of Aeth is populated by wind and air spirits and air elemental races that most often keep to themselves and do not do trade with other empires, acting as a silent force in the atmos, it’s people unwilling to work with land walkers, or walkers as they call the material people of the plane. 

This land is often protected from invasion by having zero landmassess, having a personal tie to the universal embodiment of air, and is guarded by extremely fast and dangerous wind speeds and crushing air pressures. This region of the atmos is rarely connected to other realms in the atmos, and is known to entirely disappear from the atmos for decades at a time, returning to their home plane, the elemental plane of air for indeterminate amounts of time. 

This empire is neutral in most world conflicts, and has a strenuous peace with the dragons, who have never been able to conquer the air elementals, and it takes a serious, existential threat for the empire of Aeth to be involved or get involved with any worldly threat. 

The empire of Aeth exists only partially in the world of Abraeas’Dor.  They have existed on all planes of existence formed AFTER the plane of air, Kuuth, and the primordial entity that gave air to all realms, born from Ledy Heiri, the primordial and now dead entity known to the eternal sailors and the people of Aeth as Mndar. It is the cosmic portal to all other realms in the universe that contains air. Its mysteries are still pursued by historians, mages, and scholars in all planes, and it’s only partial impact across the universe is the greatest mystery in the atmos.
